Democratic worker cooperatives have complex cultures and systems. Assisting worker cooperatives requires knowledge of coop structures and governance, as well as the time and patience to support the cooperatives through complex democratic decision-making processes.

Just Works applies the insights we’ve gained from own experience in building worker coops, as well as what we’ve learned from our coop clients, to collaboratively assess organizations, define core areas that need to be strengthened, and implement new strategies.
Building a healthy worker cooperative requires a deep commitment to training at every level and from every perspective in the organization. We use a variety of participatory approaches that cut across organizational levels to build confidence, skills and awareness in workers and owners.
